El-Rufai Gone Prophetic, Says Kaduna People Will Judge Governor Sani At Appropriate Time

A former of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, has gone prophetically on his rift with his successor saying the people of the state will give their judgement on the governor’s administration at the appropriate time.
El-Rufai and his sucessor, Senator Uba Sani have been publicity opposing each other on state and national issues.
Taking to his Facebook page on Tuesday, El-Rufai said Governor Sani has been embarrassingly and sycophantically rambling.
According to him, “Every day I see this governor embarrassingly and sycophantically rambling, I used to wonder why? However, confirming that the Federal Government ‘reimbursements, interventions and grants’ in excess of N150bn have been given selectively to Kaduna by Tinubu, in the last 18 months, now explains everything.”
He said: “By all means, defend Asiwaju for the conditional cash transfer. Asiwaju has earned it, coming from you. The people of Kaduna State will judge at the right time and place. Have a nice day.”
Governor Sani in a TVC interview Monday accused El-Rufai of insincerity with President Bola Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Governor was apparently responding to comments by El-Rufai at a national conference in Abuja last week.
El-Rufai accused the APC of poor leadership and encouraged the opposition parties to form a united front ahead of the 2027 election.
He said the APC lacked internal democracy and active structures, saying he no longer recognise the APC.
However, Governor Sani defended the president’s policies and slammed the opposition and the ruling party members antagonising Tinubu and his government.
“Most of them are foundation members of APC from the beginning and that is the reason why I was really surprised when I heard the coalition of politicians coming together at this critical time to make most of those comments they made,” he said.
Governor Sani pointed out that”I can tell you as a member of APC, we have been engaging ourselves. I cannot say we are perfect— but I can say that most of the people that are making the comments (against Tinubu’s administration) are also members of our own party.”
