Kaduna Senator Offers N75m To Celebrate Christmas

Senator Lawal Adamu Usman, representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, has distributed N75 million to Christian constituents to celebrate Christmas.
He said the funds were donated to various Christian denominations across seven local government areas, including Chikun, Kaduna North, Kaduna South, Giwa, Birnin Gwari, Kajuru, and Igabi.
According to Senator Usman, the gesture aims to alleviate hardship and enable Christians to celebrate Christmas with their families.
He emphasized that the funds are intended to support his “brothers and sisters in Christ” during the festive season, considering the prevailing hardships faced by citizens across the country.
Senator Usman also urged Muslims and Christians to unite, shun sentiments, and work together to achieve decent living standards and a good life in the country.
He stressed that the era of religious divide and rancor is over, as Islam and Christianity share similarities and historical narratives.
The event was attended by notable figures, including Peoples Democratic Party Zonal Secretary, Hon. Hussaini Garba, State Secretary Hon. Sa’idu Adamu, and Public Relations Officer, Maria Dogo.
