Gombe NUJ Mourns Death of Professor Pate’s Mother

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Gombe State Council, has mourned the loss of the mother of Mass Communication Professor and Vice-Chancellor of Federal University, Kashere, Umaru Pate.
Pate’s mother passed away on Wednesday in Yola, Adamawa State, at the age of 80 after illness.
NUJ in a press release by its state chairman, Faruk Muazu, said the late octogenarian left behind, a great man and scholar who benefits humanity.
“We share in their grief and offer our prayers and support. We recognise the immense impact Hajiya Hussainatu Pate had on her community and the lives of those around her,” he said.
