Annulled June 12 Presidential Election Umpire, Professor Humphrey Nwosu Dies at 83

Professor Humphrey Nwosu who supervised the acclaimed best Presidential elections in Nigeria in 1993 annulled by then military President Ibrahim Babangida has died in the United States Thursday.
He was aged 83. He was born in 2 October, 1941.
He was the Chairman of the defunct National Electoral Commission (NEC) from 1989 to 1993.
Babangida had annulled the June 12, 1993 presidential election purportedly won by Chief Moshood Abiola of blessed memory.
