Gov. Aliyu Condoles Jigawa Counterpart over Tanker Explosion Disaster, Donates N100m to Victims

Jigawa State Governor, Mallam Umar Namadi has continue to receive sympathy visits following the fuel tanker explosion that killed over 150 person’s and injuring about 70.
On Sunday, the Jigawa State Governor received his Sokoto State counterpart, Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto.
Governor Aliyu expressed condolences to the government and people of Jigawa State following the tragic tanker explosion in Majia town.
Governor Aliyu conveyed deep sorrow for the unfortunate disaster, offering prayers for the souls of the departed and wishing the injured a swift recovery.
He also announced a humanitarian donation of N100 million from Sokoto State for the victims.
In response, Governor Namadi thanked Governor Aliyu for his visit and the generous donation.
