Doguwa Commiserates With Mele Kyari Over Daughter’s Death

The Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Petroleum Resources (Upstream), Hon. Alhassan Ado Doguwa, has expressed his condolences to Malam Mele Kyari, the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), on the passing of his daughter, Fatima.
In a statement personally signed by Doguwa on Friday, he also extended his condolences to other members of the Kyari family over the loss of 25-year-old Fatima, who passed away on Friday.
Hon. Doguwa prayed to Allah SWT to grant Fatima Aljanatul Firdausi and to grant the family the strength to bear the painful loss of their daughter.
He said, “On behalf of myself and all the members of the House of Representatives Committee on Petroleum (Upstream), I wish to convey our condolences to Malam Mele Kyari and other members of his family over the passing of his daughter today.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time of Fatima’s passing. May Allah SWT grant her Aljannatul Firdausi and give all of you the strength to bear this irreparable loss. Amin Ya Allah,” he said.
He also conveyed the condolences of other members of the Committee over the loss.
He said, members of the Committee are deeply saddened to hear about the loss of his beloved daughter.
He said, “Please accept our heartfelt condolences during this incredibly difficult time. Losing a child is one of the most unbearable pains a parent can face, and we can only imagine the grief you must be going through.
“May you and your family find strength and comfort in the love and support of your family, friends, and colleagues.
“May your daughter’s memory be a blessing, and may she rest in peace.
The committee stands committed to support you through this period of grief. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers,” Doguwa stressed.
