Golden Era Initiative Mobilises 148, 050 Former Party Officers for Akwa Ibom Governor Eno

Golden Era Initiative (GEI), a socio – political and non profit organization is mobilizing former party officers for Governor, Pastor Umo Eno to revolutionize good governance in Akwa Ibom State.
The group is established as an umbrella organization to galvanize support for the Governor and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) with structures in the 31 Local Government Areas of the state and in the Diaspora.
Propelled by its Motto, “Arise and Shine” its governance structure covers former party executives from the wards, chapters, senatorial districts and state levels.
The National Coordinator of Golden Era Initiative (NEI), Hon. Enefiok Udoh, while giving insight into the group’s existence said, GEI was established to create awareness, re – awaken political consciousness of PDP members and past officers of the party at all levels to rekindle their hopes and aspirations.
Others are; initiating the willingness to get things done and taking up responsibility in mobilizing the people for the actualization of the ARISE Agenda of Governor Eno’s administration.
He noted that professionals in the party are not left out as mechanism for intending members is to generate 148, 050 former party officers across board, while partnering affiliate organizations to expand the frontier of PDP membership in the state to greater heights.
“Our promptness anchors on the commitment of members, who will bring their experience to bear in mobilizing the grassroots for the PDP in the State, as well as make them have a sense of belonging in the party”, he declared.
The National Coordinator of the Initiative, Hon. Enefiok Udoh is himself a grassroots mobilizer, whose acumen on party matters is topnotch.
He has served the PDP in Itu Local Government Area in various capacities from 1999 till date as, the Coordinator of Integrity Group, Itu Local Government Chapter that ushered in former Governor Udom Emmanuel’s Administration in 2015, and the State Vice – Chairman of Triple Force for Governor Udom Emmanuel in 2019 amongst others.
Some of the positions he also held included; Supervisor for Agriculture and Natural Resources (1999 – 2001), two terms Chapter Secretary of PDP, Itu LGA (2007 – 2015), Secretary to Council, Itu Local Government (2021 – 2023) and Chief of Staff to the Transition Committee Chairman of Itu Local Government (2024), as well as Chairman, Secretary and Member of several Committees at the Local Government and State levels.
