Niger, Canadian Varsity Partner on Education, Innovation, Establish $2m Joint Scholarship for 100 Medical, Professional Students

Niger State Government has partnered with All Saints University, Toronto, Canada to strengthen higher education and promote innovation in the state.
The agreement was signed by Governor Umar Mohammed Bago who led a delegation comprising of Niger State government officials.
He said that, the agreement marks a significant investment in the future of medical professionals in the state.
A $1 million-dollar scholarship bond was also established with a matching contribution from the University of Toronto to create a $2 million-dollar fund to support 100 for students pursuing medical and professional courses.
Governor Bago said, the partnership between Nigerian State government and the Canadian University will open doors for aspiring medical and other professionals and strengthen the ongoing collaboration to advance knowledge and opportunities.
