Zamfara Gov Commissions Upgraded Maru General Hospital

Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has commissioned the revamped Maru General Hospital in the state.
The hospital, which has undergone renovation and rehabilitation, is now equipped with advanced medical equipment and facilities to provide quality healthcare services to the people of Maru and its environs.
According to a press release by Sulaiman Bala Idris, Spokesperson for the Zamfara governor, the renovation works include upgrading facilities, modernizing the physical structure, and integrating advanced medical technologies and systems.
The hospital is now well-equipped to handle various medical conditions, from routine check-ups to complex surgeries.
He added that the staff at the hospital have also been equipped to deliver care services that meet the highest standards.
In addition to the renovation, he noted that the project includes providing 39-kilowatt solar power to ensure a reliable power supply to the hospital, as well as installing 35 streetlights to enhance security and visibility.
“Governor Lawal reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to prioritizing important projects, stating that his government’s mission is to provide a state-of-the-art healthcare environment that caters to the needs of the people. He directed the Ministry of Health to implement adequate measures to maintain the hospital and ensure its continuous operation.”, he said.
