Former Jigawa State Governor Senator Dr Sule Lamido has lampooned Jigawa State Government for fixing very exorbitant Prices for elections form for the forth coming LG elections.
In a viral post on his Facebook page, Dr. Sule Lamido said ‘the APC controlled government of Jigawa State has WON all the Chairmanship seats of the 27 Local Governments and the 283 Councilorship seats in the YET to be conducted local government elections throughout the State.’
The former Jigawa State Governor continue by stressing that ‘the reason being no opposition Party is able to pay the FIVE MILLION NAIRA for the Chairmanship and TWO MILLION NAIRA for the Councilorship nomination forms from the State electoral commission!

Reacting to his post, facebook users lambasted the State Government for such insensitive move amidst chronic hardship. One of the facebook users Gimba Hassan commented that the people have been robbed of the chances of good governance
