The member representing Kauran Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency of Zamfara State in the House of Representatives, Hon.Aminu Sani Jaji has denied rumours that he is planning to decamp from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
He debunked the rumour in a statement on Friday issued by his media office.
He described the rumour which he said is being circulated on the social media as the handiwork of mischief makers.
Hon. Jaji who is the Chairman, House Committee on Ecological Fund, urged the general public to disregard the false information which he described as “pure mischief, devoid of truth”.
“I want to unequivocally state that this is pure mischief devoid of truth. I’m still a member of the APC, and I have not defected to any party. I’m appealing to my supporters, constituents, and the general public to disregard the report”, The lawmaker said.
He noted that, he still remains a genuine, active, committed, and loyal member of the APC in Zamfara State and at the national level.
He therefore warned the people behind the rumours to desist and join hands to support the party and the President to deliver on his mandate.
