Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, has approved the appointment of Dr. Abubakar Zaki as the new Permanent Secretary and Chief Medical Director (CMD) of Sir Yahaya Memorial Hospital, Birnin Kebbi.
This is contained in a press statement signed by the Kebbi State Head of Service, Alhaji Sufyanu Garba Bena, and made available to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi this Wednesday.
According to the statement, Dr. Abubakar Zaki, who has been acting as the Chief Medical Director (CMD), has proven to be competent and qualified for the job.
The appointee, Dr. Zaki, who was first employed as a Medical Doctor on January 1, 1993, holds an MBBS from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS), and an MSc from Dartmouth USA,Assisted reproductive technology.
