The economic situation in the country has worsened, leaving many without access to basic necessities. It is imperative that government at all levels rises up to the occasion to find solutions to the pressing issues.

On planned protest, the CCNN comprise of its 21 affiliated member’s across jigawa state vows to pull out it’s participation from the planned protest nationwide due to the devastating experience of such moves citing EndSars protest as example.
According to Aliyu the EndSars protest was initially peaceful but later hijjacked by some scrupulous elements with ulterior motives, leading to widespread of violence, massive destruction of loss of lives and property, adding we cannot afford to repeat such a scenerio in our region.
” As concerned Citizens, we prioritize the peace and stability of our region. We have witnessed the devastating effects of protest in some countries, where initially peaceful demonstrations escalated into violent conflicts resulting in loss of lives, destruction of property and long term instability”.
According to the CCNN coordinator, we are quite aware that most promoters, and sponsors of the planned protest are not even residing or working in Nigeria. Many of them are diaspora Nigerians who are based and working in abroad. Therefore, we will not provide a platform for conflict merchants to exploit the situation and worsen the sufferings of our people.
