Bauchi Emir Turbans Honourable Ibrahim Bala Hassan As First Sodangin Bauchi
The emir of Bauchi Alhaji Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu has appointed Honourable Ibrahim Bala Hassan as the first ‘Sodagin Bauchi ‘.
The turbanning has taken place last Saturday at the palace of the emir alongside other new traditional tittles holders.
The emir said he conferred the title on Ibrahim Bala Hassan in view of his contribution to the progress of Bauchi state.
He charged the new title holder to help in projecting the image of the emirate and safeguarding the integrity of Bauchi town and state in general.
The new Sodangi title refers to someone who loves and cares for his kinsmen and this was the first time such title was conferred on anyone in the emirate.
Hon. Ibrahim Bala was the member representing Duguri/Gwana constituency in the Bauchi state house of assembly.
