The Minority Whip of the Federal House Of Representatives Honourable Ali Isa JC has extolled the virtues of the late speaker of the house Ghali Na’Abba describing him as a mentor to current lawmakers.
Speaking on Tuesday during a plenary session in honour of the ex speaker, JC who is a member representing Billiri/Balanga federal constituency of Gombe State said he was inspired by the late speaker to join politics when he (JC) was just a staff of the national assembly.
He said his colleagues in the legislature now see Na’Abba as a mentor because they are building on the foundation he laid as a pioneer member of the national assembly since transition to civil rule in 1999.
The lawmaker urged his colleagues to strive to do good and leave legacies with which they can be remembered by Nigerians when they are not in the government or alive that can also be cherished and emulated by the posterity.
