Thieves Burgle House Of Journalist Najib Sani, Cart Away Electronics, Foodstuffs
Hoodlums have burgled the house of Gombe State based journalist Najib Sani and carted away electronic devices including Plasma Television set, Satelite Decoder and DVD player.
The burglars have also stolen foodstuffs after breaking into his kitchen that comprise of rice, gallon of groundnut oil, yam, noodles, semo vita, Maggi and tomato paste among others.
Narrating the incident, Najib explained that he travelled to Bauchi on Wednesday 7th February, 2024 and returned on Friday 16th only to discover that the house was burgled and precious stuffs stolen.
He stated that his wife was also not in the house when the incident occurred adding that he had been travelling without experiencing such incidents in the past.
Najib, who lives in labour quarters, Tumfure in Gombe State capital noted that he reported the matter to the police who visited the house and recovered a hammer allegedly used by the burglars to break some of the room’s doors.
