Gashua varsity mouns late Bukar Abba
Federal University Gashua (FUGA), has sent a condolence message to the government and people of Yobe State on the passing of Senator Bukar Abba Ibrahim, former governor of the state. Head, Information and Protocol Unit of the university, Adamu Saleh said in a statement, the university mourns Abba, who was also a former Senator representing Yobe East Senatorial District with grief.
Senator Ibrahim died at Saudi-German Hospital in Mecca, Saudi Arabia on Sunday 4th February at the age of 75 after a protracted illness.
A condolence letter signed by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Maimuna Waziri, expressed the management’s heartfelt condolences to the immediate family, government and the good people of Yobe State over the passing away of Alh (Dr) Bukar Abba Ibrahim, the former governor of Yobe State, Sale said.
” We came from Allah and to Him we shall all return. May Allah in His infinite mercies forgive his shortcomings, grant him Al-Jannah Firdausi and give his family, government, the entire people of the state and beyond the fortitude to bear the loss, Amin,” she said.
