A Chief Magistrates ‘ Court in Osun on Monday ordered that a 22-year -old man, Tunde Agbaje, who allegedly robbed a filling station manager of N1.2 million, be remanded in Ilesa Correctional Centre.
The police charged Abgaje with armed robbery.
The Magistrate , Mr Isola Omisade, did not the plea of Agbaje because he had no any legal representation .
Omisade, therefore , adjourned the case until Nov. 16 for mention.
Earlier, the Police Prosecutor, Sgt. Temitope Fatoba , told the court that Abgaje committed the offence on Aug. 13, at about 9. 10 pm, at Bovas Filling Stattion , Osogbo.
Fatoba alleged that Abgaje, with others now at large , armed themselves with dangerous weapons, and robbed Ademola Omitogun , the manager of the filling station .
He alleged that Abgaje and his accomplice, robbed the manager of the filling station of N1.2 million.
The offence, he said, contravened the provisions of sections 1 (1)(2)(a) of the Robbery and Firearms ( Special Provision) Act Cap R11, Vol. 14, 2004.
