The Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, Alhaji Ado lbrahim, on Saturday turbaned an estate consultant, Alhaji Abubakar lmam AbdulRaheem, as Amana of Ebiraland in Kogi.
In his remarks at the occasion, the Ohinoyi advised the new title holders not to relent in contributing their quotas to the development of the community.
lbrahim urged them to continue to be good ambassadors of Ebiraland by further intensifying their good deeds and love for the community.
“You must continue to exhibit loyalty to the Paramount ruler of Ebiraland at all times,” the first class traditional ruler advised them.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the historical event, which took place at the Palace of the Ohinoyi, attracted several eminent personalities from all walks of life, including family members of late Sheikh Yahaya Tajudeen at home and in Diaspora.
The other two recipient’s of the chieftancy titles were Dr AbdulMalik Attah, who became the Wali of Ebiraland, and Alhaji Mohammed Kabir Ajanah, who received the title of Madaki of Ebiraland.
The new Amana of Ebiraland, Alhaji Abubakar Imam AbdulRaheem, while speaking with NAN, expressed gratitude to Allah, the Ohinoyi and descendants of late Sheikh lmam Yahaya Tajudeen.
He promised not to betray the confidence reposed in him in the discharge of his new responsibility.
The new Amana of Ebiraland, who is a philanthropist, holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Bayero University, Kano, and Masters degree in Political Economy and Socio-development from the University of Abuja.
He is married and blessed with children.
