Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has appointed Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Head of Service (HoS) and Chief Of Staff that will serve his administration in the next four years.
According to a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, the governor approved the appointment of Awwal D. Tukur as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
Awwal was a former Member of the House of Representatives and served as the Director General of the Adamawa Presidential and Gubernatorial Campaign Council in the 2023 national elections.
The statement further informed that, Governor Fintiri also approved the the appointment of Dr Edgar Amos as Chief of Staff Government House.
Dr Amos was the Head of Service and was replaced by Shehu Isa Ardo takes over as Head of the Civil Service as a result of his appointment.
The appointments take immediate effect.
