In a press statement released on Saturday, Enger Hassan Muhammad, the President of Tukur Buratai Football Academy, also known as Sarkin Yaki Garkuwa Keffi, urged Muslims in the country to continue praying for peace, development, and prosperity in Nigeria during Eid-al-Fitr.
Describing Eid-al-Fitr as a time of reflection, Enger Muhammad emphasized the importance of replicating the lessons learned during the holy month of Ramadan in daily life. He called on Muslims to embody the values of piety, obedience, and selflessness, and to promote peace, tolerance, modesty, and love in their communities.
Despite the current socio-economic challenges facing the country, Enger Muhammad encouraged Nigerian youth to remain steadfast and prayerful, expressing his belief that the nation’s difficulties would soon pass, and that Nigeria would emerge stronger and more united as a result. He called on the youth to support one another and work together to promote unity and progress in Nigeria, thereby frustrating the nefarious activities of criminals.
