Kaduna state Police Command has commenced recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force as constables.
Kaduna command disclosed this in a statement signed by its Public Relations Officer, ASP Muhammed Jalige and made available to newsmen on Wednesday.
The statement which was signed on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, Kaduna State Police Command, CP Umar Muri called on interested Nigerians to apply for the job.
In the statement, the Commissioner explained that the recruitment exercise has commenced on 14th July, 2020 and will be close on 23rd August,2020.
“In view of the above, the Kaduna state Police Command wishes to inform the good people of Kaduna state and prospective applicants in particular that, the application is absolutely free of charge and they should beware of fraudsters who may want to take advantage of the process to perpetrate their nefarious behaviors. The Command have set up machinary in place to ensure that whoever try to truncate the process will be adequately dealt with according to the extant laws of the land.
“The prospective Applicants who have passion for a career in the Nigeria Police Force shall meet the following minimum requirements:-
1. Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth with authentic National Identity Number (NIN).
2. Must not be less than 17 years or more than 25 years of age.
3. Must have an O’ Level Certificate with at least Five (5) Credits including Mathematics and English Language in not more than two sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB.
4. Must be of good character and not have been convicted by court of any criminal offence.
5. Must not be less than 1.67 metres in height for men and 1.64 metres for women.
6. Must not have less than 86cm (34 inches) expanded chest measurement (for men only).
7. Must not have any one of the following:- abnormalities or deformities; Speech Impediment, Knock Knees, Bow Legs, Bent Knees, Flat Feet, Deformed Hands which cannot perform the full functions of the hand, Defective Eyesight or Squint Eyes, Amputation of any part of the body, Gross Malformation of teeth or jaw.
8. Women applicants Must not be pregnant at the time of Recruitment.
9. Applicants must print their completed online forms,guarantor’s forms and submit them at the examination /screening and recruitment centres.” The statement reads.
The Commissioner also explained that applicants that meet the requirements from the online registration would be invited for physical screening at the State Police Command Headquarters, Kaduna from 24th to 30th August 2020 for Physical screening /Examination which will be conducted in line with the COVID -19 safety protocols.
According to him, Names of Successful candidates will be published in the selected National dailies on 14th September,2020 and other relevant platforms.
