The Nigeria Immigration Seevice (NIS) ha arrested Nine persons suspected to be human traffickers in Jigawa State.
The suspects were arrested along Kaya to Daurawa link Road of Roni local Government area of the state on their way to Libya en route Niger Republic.
The suspects according to the NIS were five males and three females aged between 19 to 45 years who were from Abia, ,Edo, Imo and Ogun states and only one person was found with an expired Nigerian Passport .
The suspects arrested we’re; Nosa Isaac, Emmanuel Ogur, Abdulwasiu Okadokum,Blessing John, Etiosa Henry, Osagie Francis, ,Faith Moses and Success Jacob.
Based on the directive of the Controller General of Nigeria Immigration Service, the jigawa state Controller has handed over the suspects to the NAPTIP for proper action.
