Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has visited Guyuk local government area to campaign for re-election in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
The governor’s aide on New Media, Muhammad B. Tukur, in a statement on Friday said, Fintiri pledges more good governance to the people of the area if he’s re-elected.
The Statement quoted Governor Fintiri saying that, his administration has provided infrastructures like rural and urban roads, water supply, improved agriculture and Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) in Adamawa State.
Governor Fintiri earlier visited the Palace of Kwandi Nungurya, Kurhaye Dishon Dan Sanda on a homage where he was decorated with traditional attire.
PDP chieftains attended the rally including the PDP presidential campaign Director in Adamawa, Awwal Tukur, Prof. Kaletapwa George, Fintiri’s running mate.
Speaking, the State’s PDP chairman, A.T Shehu also urged the people not to vote for those who crippled the nation’s economy while in office.
He appealed to them to vote en masse for the PDP in the forthcoming election.
