Zamfara State All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council and members of the party have developed strategies to deliver Governor Bello Matawalle and the Presidential candidate of the party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
This was disclosed by the Zamfara State Presidential Campaign Council Coordinator, Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa in an opening remark held at a meeting held at the Mini Chamber, Government House, Gusau.
A statement by the APC state Publicity Secretary, Yusuf Idris Gusau on Saturday stated that, Marafa commended the APC National leadership for appoiting Zamfara State Governor as the North West Campaign Coordinator which he described as an honour to Zamfara State and it’s people.
He called for support by all well citizens of the state for the party to have an overwhelming victory at all levels.
He said, the maiden meeting was convened in order to obtain and fine-tune comprehensive plans and strategies for the success of all the party’s candidates in Zamfara State
The state APC campaign coordinator added that the Presidential Campaign Council will be all inclusive to all critical stakeholders under his leadership in the state, with a view to record a landslide victory in all the elections in the state
He therefore called for hardwork and dedication among the state committee members throughout the period of the campaign and beyond.
He expressed confidence that the calibre of people in the state committee is convincing enough for a more formidable and strong political Mobilisation in the campaign train.
The Coordinator urged members to contribute immensely to the success of the committee and total victory of all the party’s candidates
He later informed members that a working document has already been designed to guide the conduct and operation of the committee in the state while other sub-committees will be constituted from Polling units to the state level.
The meeting was attended by the Speaker, Zamfara State House of Assembly, Hon. Nasiru Maazu Magarya, APC State Secretary, Hon.Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima and all the members of the committee in the state.
