A Presidential campaign Coordinator for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presideential candidate, former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, Rose Simon, Grace Joshua, a former Special Assistant to former Governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, Saul Dodo Damagun and others have joined the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
They announced their defections from the PDP to the NNPP alongside five others on Friday.
Others who defected were; were; Engineer Labilwa Sambo Madugu, Honourable Kawu Peto Kaltungo, Honourable Safiyanu Magaji and James Bello Danbaba.
Their defection is coming days after the defection of the immediate past state women leader, Mole Istifanus Bennett, a former commissioner Bakura Bajoga and others who left the party few days ago.
It could be recalled that, the forum of past PDP women leaders from the 11 local government areas of the state staged a peaceful protest over their alleged abandonment and exclusion from the campaign council of the party’s governorship candidate.
This led to the resignation of the leader of the forum, Mole Istifanus Bennett resigned from the party and later joined the NNPP alongside others.
They were all received into the NNPP by the Gombe State Governorship candidate, Khamisu Mailantarki.
