In what would simply be described as love goes awry, a Nigerian lady, Ummukulsum Buhari was killed in Kano by her lover, a Chinese national identified as Mr Geng.
The incident happened at Janbulo in Kano metropolis yesterday night according to the family source.
Comfirming the killing of her daughter, the mother of the deceased, laments that Mr Geng came to the house and knocked at their door frantically around 8pm, and later forced himself into the house around 9pm.
While narrating how the incident happened, the mother of the deceased said he pushed her away and entered into her daughter’s room and stabbed her to death.
“When we got tired of his knocking, I went out to tell him to keep off our house, but he pushed me away and went straight into her room and killed her,” the mother said.
“We then began shouting and neighbours came to our rescue and apprehended him.
“She was immediately taken to hospital where she was later certified dead.”
Mr Geng picture was seen probally taken at the scene of the incident with the floor of the room paint with blood.
Though, there was different narratives of their love story, many believed that the two have dating for longtime untill yesterday’s gruesome murder of Ms Buhari.
Kano state police Command is yet to confirm the incident and the arrest of the suspect.
