The Santuraki Campaign Directorate, the electioneering campaign outfit for the Jigawa PDP governorship candidate for the 2023 elections, Mustapha Sule Lamido, will harness the resources of all support groups towards the victory of the candidate at the polls.
The Director-General of the outfit, Alhaji Nasiru Umar Roni, gave the assurance when members of the PDP National Youth Agenda paid him an interactive visit in his office.
He assured the NYA members that they would be involved in the mobilization, securing of votes, before, during and after election, urging them to work for PDP as the only political party with the administrative expertise to get Nigeria out of its political quagmire.
He said the Jigawa PDP governorship candidate, Dr Mustapha Lamido, enjoys the support of the majority of the people in the state, particularly the youth because of his brilliant ideas to develop the state.
Alh. Nasiru Umar then congratulated the NYA for securing the recognition of the National Headquarters of PDP and awarded a certificate of recognition in that regard.
Earlier in his remarks, the National Coordinator of NYA, Suleiman Uwaisu Idris, said they were in the DG’s office to familiarise with him and to also present their certificate of recognition as well as certificate of appreciation to the DG.
The NYA Coordinator told the DG that preparations had reached advanced stage for NYA to conduct a one-day special prayers for the PDP and its candidates nationwide.
He appealed to the DG to involve members of the group in all electioneering campaign activities to enable them contribute their quota to the victory of Gov. Mustapha Sule Lamido and President Atiku Abubakar.
