Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle’s achievements in tackling insecurity and the unity of the ruling All Progressives Party (APC) in Zamfara State constitute the flashcards for the party to win across board in the 2023 elections in.the state.
The State Chairman of the party, Tukur Umar Danfulani, made this remark in Gusau on Wednesday, 7th September, when he led the party’s State Working Committee on a visit to Governor Matawalle to fine-tune strategies toward an overwhelming win in the upcoming 2023 general elections.
Speaking at the meeting, Danfulani expressed confidence in the ability of the party to win all the elections across board, attributing this confidence to the governor’s style of governance.
Danfulani commended the governor for initiating peace and reconciliation with stakeholders and aggrieved members which, he pointed out, had ensured internal unity of the party and boosted its chances of clearing the elections.
He also said the governor’s effort at tackling the insecurity bedevilling the state would be main reason for the Zamfarans return to return APC to power in 2023 to enable the governor consolidate and build on the achievements recorded do far.
While receiving the party leadership, Governor Matawalle thanked Danfulani and his team for supporting his administration.
Matawalle remarked that his administration is anchored on the support, cooperation and prayers of the people of Zamfara and the exceptional leadership style demonstrated by the APC leaders of the state.
