The All Progressives Congress (APC) 2023 elections presidential candidate, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has donated N50 million to Jigawa State government for the relief of flood victims across the state.
Tinubu was in Jigawa, Tuesday, 6th September in company of the National Chairman of the party, Senator Abdullahi Adamu and other party officials to commisserate with the state over the floods wreaking havoc across several communities.
The presidential candidate was in Hadejiya, where the Emir, Adamu Abubakar Maje Haruna, appealed to government to support the flood victims with relief materials.
The royal father lamented that thousands of the victims lost their houses and farms to the floods, pleading with the state governor, Muhammadu Badaru Abubakar, to solicit support from politicians, businessmen.and other philanthropists
He assured that donations meant for the victims would be shared judiciously among them across the affected communities in the five Emirates of the state.
