From the day he emerged as the Jigawa State Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2023 general elections, Dr Mustapha Sule Lamido has shown his desire to bring modernization into the body politic of jigawa state and Nigeria.
As the preparations for the commencement of campaign proper gathers momentum Dr Lamido Junior has set up various committees and appointed members into all the committees with appointment letters honourably signed by himself. This action gave the appointees a sense of belonging in running the affairs of the party.
On his directives, the Social Media arm of the campaign outfit has been reorganised and strengthened at the local government, zonal and state levels for effective performance. Tgis action is unprecedented in the entire federation, as investigation revealed.
Dr. Mustapha Sule Lamido, in his political wisdom, has approved the formation of two strategic campaign committees – Santuraki Campaign Council (SCC) and Santuraki Campaign Directorate (SCD).
The SCC is charged with the responsibility of conducting all political activities in the field. It has the power to approve at a joint meeting all strategic political requirements from the Directorate for implementation.
The Campaign Directorate is charged with the power to implement all the administrative requirements of the campaign activities. The Directorate will also supervise the day to day campaign programmes and to report successes or otherwise to a joint meeting of the two bodies from time to time for appropriate action(s).
The Political Scientist Gubernotorial Candidate, Mustapha Lamido, has acquired a well furnished office accommodation for the Campaign Directorate to function properly. This decision forced other political parties and their candidates to attempt emulating him. None of them has succeeded in doing that yet. They are trailing far away behind PDP and its Digital Candidate.
Above all, the mission statements being doled out by Lamido junior have linked him up with the electorates, whom he is contesting to govern. They can now at a glance into the mind of their Governor and comprehend his programmes and policies look long before they cast their votes for him.
To sum it up, the political actions of Dr Mustapha Sule Lamido, Jigawa PDP Gubernatorial Candidate, have portrayed him as the only candidate modernizing the body politic of his state, Jigawa, and Nigeria in general.
