The governing All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State has assured that Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle will deliver the Northwest zone to the Tinubu/Shettima presidential ticket in the 2023 elections.
The party, in a statement by its spokesman, Yusuf Idris Gusau, was expressing gratitude to the National Secretariat for appointing Matawalle the Northwest Coordinator of the Tinubu/Shettima presidential electioneering campaigns.
“It’s our belief that with his hardwork, dedication and purposeful leadership qualities of team work and as the Zonal Campaign Coordinator, Matawalle will definitely initiate lots of campaign strategies through public Enlightenment for the party to succeed at all levels of the elections,” Gusau said.
“We remain confident in Matawalle’s ability to deliver the zone with unchallenged overwhelming results,” he stressed.
Gusau maintained that Northwest Zone has remained the APC’s stronghold with the highest number of registered voters that will determine who becomes the next president of Nigeria come 2023.
