The All Progressive Congress, APC Senatorial candidate for the 2023 general election, Hon. Tijjani Ibrahim Kiyawa is dead.
Late Tijjani died at a Chinese hospital in Abuja where he was admitted recently.
He won the recent APC primary election to contest for the Jigawa Central senatorial district in the upcoming 2023 general election.
Kiyawa was a former member of the House of Representatives for Kiyawa/Dutse constituency, under the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, he decamped to the All Progressives Congress after he lost the PDP gubernatorial ticket to Aminu Ibrahim Ringim during the 2015 primary elections.
He survived by his wife, an aged mother and many children.
Recall Daylight Reporters had reported that the aged mother of the deceased, Hajiya Jaja was kidnapped by bandits in June before she was later freed by her captives.
