Nigerian Youth Coalition (NYC), has called on presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, to appoint people in his campaign team that would help him win the 2023 election.
Mr Aare Hassan, President, NYC and Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide, made the call on Thursday in Abuja .
According to Hassan, winning the election should be the most paramount thing for Tinubu now, ”so he should hearken to the voice of the people and select who will be in his team.
“The leadership of the Nigerian Youth Coalition; the apex coalition of the various socio-cultural and civil society youth groups in Nigeria is compelled to make this call.”
Hassan said that the call on Tinubu and Shettima was borne out of patriotism.
“This is for them to reconsider some of the people they have already appointed.
“We call on all well meaning lovers of democracy in the All Progressives Congress- APC to see the urgent need to read the minds and body language of Nigerians,” he urged.
