The National President of the Kulen Allah Cattle Reares Association of Nigeria (KACRAN) Hon Khalil Mohd Bello, has called on the security agencies operative in the northeast region to do everything possible to bring to an end the security problems in the Zone.
Hon Khalid Bello disclosed this during paid a courtesy call to Assistant Inspector General of Police Borno/Yobe Police Commend Lawan Ado, at his office in the Borno State police headquarters, who was accompanied by the Nat Fin Sec, Alh Abatcha Yusuf Ali Ngala; M Sani Imam Ch Borno State Chapter and other executive members of the Association.
According to him, ” we severally said it without numbers that, KACRAN is an Association that is registered with a strong view to bring peace and unity between Cattle Rearers and Farmers in the Country” he emphasized.
The Association explained to AIG Lawan Ado, that the purpose of the visit was to congratulate and rejoice with him on the above positive development and commend the Inspector General of Police for his kindness in creating the command under reference.
He said that, the Association expressed its deepest concern on how the issue of insecurity remained the major concern in Bormo/Yobe, North East and some part of the Country as well as stating that its members who stayed in the bushes of the unsecured areas are the mostly affected by the insurgency and other insecurity problems bedevilled most part of the nation.
The National President and his entourage assured him, on the Association’s readiness to accord him all the necessary cooperation and support desired to enable him achieve the aim for which his Command was created, which lead to his subsequent well deserved appointment as first AIG of the newly created Police Command Zone in States mentioned.
In his response, the AIG Lawan Ado, thanks Members of the Association for the said historic courtesy call and assured them that he will fully cooperate with the Association to make sure that peace and unity is restored between Farmers and Herders as well as in the Area under his domain and the Nation in general.
He called on the members of the association to continue giving their support and cooperation to the security operatives in the northeast region in order to bring end of the insecurity challenges facing Nigeria, most expecially in the northeast region zone.
