The Nigerian Youth and Diaspora Forum for Bola Tinubu (NYD4BAT), has described the National Leader of the All-Progressives Congress (APC), Tinubu as a political genius as he clocks 70 years.
The Media Director, NYD4BAT, a volunteer political movement, Dr Ajibola Abayomi, said this in a message to mark Tinubu’s 79th birthday anniversary on Tuesday in Abuja.
Abayomi described the ex-Lagos governor as a gift to humanity who had set enviable records on governance.
He said this had endeared him to the heart of millions of Nigerians as a presidential material to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.
“We celebrate a rare gem at 70 whose brand of politics is a complete dedication to humanity giving his impact on millions of Nigerians as a detribalised politician without religious or primordial sentiments,” he said.
Abayomi said that the group comprises young professionals within and outside the country.
“Already, we have a 70- layer agenda on Tinubu that differentiates him from other presidential contestants.
“Over the years, the APC leader, as an outstanding public servant remains an advocate of good governance. We are proud of his belief in human capacity development with antecedent in fighting poverty at all level.
“As a governor in Lagos between 1999 to 2007, he set a world class example of systemic administration and unparalleled succession plan, raising the state’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) from a paltry N600 million to over N450 billion,” he said.
Abayomi said that some Nigerian youths and others in the Diaspora are ready to team up with the former governor to achieve his presidential ambition.
He said that the group had set machinery in motion with a strategic virtual meeting fixed for April 16, to galvanize support for Tinubu’s presidential ambition beyond congratulating him.
The News of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the group has Adeniyi Sanusi, a Romanian-based Nigerian as the Diaspora chapter Chairman and Tito Philips Jnr, as the Chairman of the Nigerian chapter.
