Governor of Zamfara State, Bello Mohammed Matawalle was among hundreds of mourners that attended the funeral prayer of late Hajiya Rabi Garba Muhammad Tambari Maradun wife of Emir of Maradun, Sarkin Kaya, Alhaji Garba Muhammad Tambari.
Also at the funeral rite of the deceased were the former Governor of Zamfara State and APC leader Senator Ahmed Sani Yariman Bakura, Former Speaker of Zamfara State House of Assembly and Chief of Staff to the Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Alhaji Sanusi Garba Rikiji, Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Kabiru Balarabe, Chief of Staff Government House, Gusau, Malam Ibrahim Suleiman, State Head of Service Alhaji Kabiru Muhammad Gayari, Honorable members of the State Executive Council, Honourable Members of the State House of Assembly, and Special Advisers.
Others were Royal fathers from Zamfara State and beyond led by His Royal Highness, the Emir of Zamfara Anka and Chairman State Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Attahiru Muhammad Ahmed CON, District and Village Heads, Traditional tittle holders, Islamic Scholars, senior Government officials and people from all walks of life.
Shortly after the funeral prayer, Governor Bello Matawalle personally condoled the Emir of Maradun over the great loss of Hajiya Rabi Garba Muhammad Tambari who was the first wife to the emir, Maradun Emirate Council and the state in general.
He described Hajiya Rabi Garba Tambari as a humble and honest mother who was a pillar of support to the monarch and contributed immensely to his successful reign as a traditional ruler for decades.
The Governor also commisserated with her immediate children, relatives and people of Maradun in general who will surely miss her assistance to humanity, and her examplary conduct as a devout Muslim, mother and wife, who spent her lifetime in supporting the needy.
The Matawallen Maradun prayed to Allahu SWT to forgive the deceased of all her shortcomings and grant her family the fortitude to bear the loss.
Special prayers were offered led by the state Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed Tukur Sani Jangebe, and the Chief Imam of Farfaru Jumuat Mosque, Sokoto, Sheikh Abubakar Jibril and other Islamic Scholars for the peaceful repose of the soul of the deceased.
Responding, the Emir of Maradun Sarkin Kaya, Alhaji Garba Muhammad Tambari Maradun thanked the Governor and all those who commisserated with him and the Emirate over the death of his first wife Hajiya Rabi Garba Tambari.
