Renowned politician and philanthropist, Dr Jamil Isiyaku Gwamna has sympathized with the victims of flood which wrecked havoc in Nafada and some other communities in Gombe.
Gwamna, in a statement issued by his aide, Sani Abubakar, said he was saddened by the devastating effect of the flood on houses, farms and other valuable properties across the affected communities.
According to the statement “I extend my most sincere sympathy to those affected by the devastating flood in Nafada town and other parts of the state.
“I feel and share the pain of those whose houses and properties were destroyed.
“We stand with the people and the government of Gombe State during this tragic time.
“Indeed, our thoughts and prayers are with those affected.” He said.
