The Bells University of Technology, Ota, Ogun State has appointed former Governor of Gombe state, Dr. Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo (OON) as the Chancellor of the University.
This was made known when the delegation from the University comprising of the Pro – Chancellor, former Minister of Power, Prof. Bart O. Nnaji, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Jeremiah O. Ojediran and the Registrar of the University, Alh. Lamidi S. Tafa presented the appointment letter to Dankwambo at his Abuja residence on behalf of the governing council of the University.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation and presenting the letter to the new Chancellor, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Jeremiah said the Governing Council of the institution are proud to have Dankwambo as the new Chancellor of the University and they’ll be looking forward to tap from his vast knowledge and enviable experience.
“It’s a privilege for the University to have you as its Chancellor believing that with your vast experience, the Institution stands to get alot from you”. He said.
In his response, Dankwambo thanks the Founder of the Institution, former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the entire governing board of the University for finding him worthy of such great opportunity while ensuring that he can equally give his best to move the University forward and sustain its legacies.
“I want to thank His Excellency, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, the Founder of the University and the entire governing council for finding me worthy of this great opportunity.
“I would also want to assure you that I’ll give my possible best in ensuring that the Institution move forward and sustain its legacies.” He reiterate
