The Bauchi state branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has commended the state Governor Bala Mohammed for approving the provision of a befitting bar center for the association.
According to a statement issued by the NBA chairman Abubakar Abdulhamid on Wednesday, the decision of the governor to bless the Bauchi branch with a befitting bar center which is the first time in the state has proven his affection for legal practitioners.
The statement added that such gesture to the association is indeed a manifestation of the governor’s all inclusive development in the state.
Abdulhamid pointed out that the Bauchi branch of the NBA recognised the governor’s solemn sacrifice, concern, commitment and constant readiness to serve the entire populace within and outside the state.
The NBA Chairman stated that the association will continue to partner with his administration in entrenching the rule of law in all its ramification in our in our dear branch, and the state at large.
Blueprint reports that the Nigerian Bar Association in Bauchi state hitherto had no permanent secretariat and used the state high court complex for their programmes.
