Gombe state governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has appointed Alh. Umaru Kwairanga as Chairman of the Board of Gombe State Investment and Property Development Company. His cousin, Alh Muawiya Faruk, was also appointed Managing Director of the Company.
In a press release the Director General, Press Affairs, Government House, Ismaila Uba Misilli, said the appointments were signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi.
Members of the board are, Alh. Yidi Sambo Dukku, Mr. Benson Yahaya, Alh. Hamza Sule Wuro Bokki, Alh. Sadiq Mohammed and Alh. Abdullahi Ali Gombe.
Others are Alh. Adamu Sambo, Alh. Awwal Musa Bashir, Mal. Yila Sa’idu Mohammed and Mr. Anthony Yaro.
Former Chairman of Ashaka Cement, Kwairanga contested the All Progressives Congress 2019 gubernatorial primary election and lost to Mr. Yahaya.
