President Muhammadu Buhari has departed Nigeria for the United Kingdom to have his routine medical checkup.
The President was bade goodbye by some top government functionaries this afternoon in Abuja.
Among whom are: the Chief of Staff to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu and the FCT Minister, Muhammed Musa Bello.
The President is expected back in the country by the second week of April, as contained in the statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina earlier on Monday.
