Earlier the prosecution counsel, Peter Ejike, told the court that one Moses Ubebe, who also lives in Agwan Tiv, Karu , Abuja, reported the matter on April 17.
Ejike said on the same date, Umar conspired with four others who are currently at large, attacked Ubebe, collected his mobile phone and the sum of N5,000.
The prosecutor further said Umar inflicted injuries on Ubebe in the process of the attack.
He equally said that the offence contravened the provisions of sections 95 and 287 of the Penal Code.
