The Gombe State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has inaugurated a seven-man disciplinary and reconciliatory Committee.
The Committee has Hon. Mijinyawa Sani Labaran as Chairman and Barr. Habu Abdu Kwadan as Secretary.
Members of the Committee includes Ali Bagwal, Alh. Hassan Dasa, Hon. Emos Fablous, Hon. Ibrahim Yusuf and Gambo Garba Pindiga.
The committee was inaugurated at the PDP secretariat in Gombe by the State Chairman of the party, Gen. M A Kwaskwabe Rtd., with other state EXCOS.
Kwaskwabe urged members to discharge their duty without fear or favour, and come up with thorough results, stressing that without unity and cohesion, the PDP in Gombe would not be able fight its common enemy which is All Progressive Congress, (APC), and reclaim power in the state.
The Chairman who also handed committee members relevant documents to work with in the course of their investigation, advised them to see their position as a trust, not a goldmine, and always put the interest of the party above their personal interest.
Responding, Chairman of the committee, Mijiyawa Sani Labaran assured party executives that the committee would ensure justice, truth and unite members of the party in the state, so as to form a formidable force for the party’s victory come 2023.
