Nigeria’s former President, Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has ascribed his successes in life to the quantum contribution of his family.
Jonathan stated this, on his verified twitter handle on Friday to mark his 63rd birthday.
While thanking God, the ECOWAS peace envoy reiterated that his family remains an integral part of his life journey and also a source of strength to him.
The former President who could not hide his ecstatic feeling appreciated all that came from far and near to surprise him and share in his joy in his Otuoke home, as he clocks 63 today.
Highlights of the event include; prayers of thanksgiving to God for the gift of life from the well-wishers, presentation of gifts to the celebrant and photographs.
Jonathan was born on the 20th of November 1957, in the riverine Otuoke in Bayelsa state, where he rose to become Nigeria’s first and only President from the oil rich South-south region between 2010 & 2015.
He handed over power to the then opposition party, APC, an action which has earned him more global recognition with an award of a Peace Ambassador.
And he has been an envoy leading delegates on peacekeeping and election observer missions across the African continent.
