Open Letter To Rahama Sadau

“Perfection doesn’t exist in anyone. Nor, does a person’s mistakes make them less valuable to the world.”
-Shannon L. Alder
You have earned my respect. One of the things that attract me to people is their humility. You are admitted that you made a mistake and remorsefully apologized for your innocent transgressions. Yet they were still baying for your blood.
I’m pained by the fact that, despite your tearful apology, your viciously vindictive enemies have finally expelled from you kannywood. Don’t lose sleep over it; being expelled from kannywood is not the end of the world. The God whose forgiveness you have sought will never abandon you. By His grace, you will soar ever higher.
Those that malevolently wanted to exact your pound of flesh may have succeeded in expelling you from kannywood. Don’t let this temporary setback paralyse you; nothing discomforts your enemies than to see you happy ever after.
Take matters in your stride; don’t look back; don’t let the current travails hold you back. There is life beyond kannywood. People can steal your money, but they can’t steal your knowledge and your talent.
Ultimate judgement belongs to God before whom you have expressed your repentance. God says he will exalt those that humble themselves and humble those that exalt themselves. Cry no more because God is happy with your humility. Don’t let unforgiving men destroy your joy. Get over it and move on with your life. Having apologized for your mistake, and having been disproportionate punished, pray silently to God to make your future greater than it is. May God answer our prayers and forgive our shortcomings. Amin.
