The Emir of Gombe Alhaji (Dr) Abubakar Shehu Abubakar (lll) has commended the Director General of National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA), Prof. Aliyu Jauro, for the visionary leadership he has brought to bear in the Agency.
The Emir made the commendation during a fatherly visit to the DG in his office on Friday.
He described the NESREA boss as an achiever and a hardworking leader who has brought various innovations to the Agency.
According to him, “your innovations and achievements in this Agency are highly commendable and worthy of emulation.”
He added, “You are a leader that knows where you are, where you are going to and how to get there. Gombe Emirate is highly proud of your stewardship.”
He explained that leadership in every organization makes the difference.
“When things go wrong or right, the leader is held responsible.”
Responding, Prof. Aliyu thanked the Emir for the visit, saying that it was a privilege to receive the monarch.
“Today we are very happy to receive your Royal Highness. We thank you for the show of love and support.”
He added that all that he is able to achieve was as a result of the fatherly advices and prayers being offered by the Emir.
