As attention is shifted to Sir Kashim Ibrahim House for the announcement of new Emir of Zazzau, Governor of Kaduna state, Malam Nasir El-Rufai has said that he is reading his third and final book to guide him in taking the final decision, as he awaits the review of the Kingmakers’ report by the Ministry for Local Government.
In a statement published on his Facebook page, El-Rufai said he is reading Dr Hamid Bobboyi’s Principles of Leadership According to the Founding Father of the Sokoto Caliphate.”
He said “While awaiting the review of the kingmakers’ report by the Ministry for Local Government, I am on my third and final book on the selection process – Dr Hamid Bobboyi’s Principles of Leadership According to the Founding Fathers of the Sokoto Caliphate.
“The recommendations of the Ministry & security reports on the aspirants will then be sent to me for final decision.
He urged the public to continue praying for him to choose the Emir that can stand the test of time.
“Please continue to pray for me to choose the Emir that will prepare Zazzau Emirate firmly to flourish amidst the challenges of the 21st Century.” He pleaded.
Recall that in two separate Facebook posts, the the Governor said he was reading Prof. M G Smith’s book, “Government in Zazzau” and “British in Northern Nigeria” of Robert Heussler ahead of the appointment of new Emir.
