Nigeria’s good governance advocate and stalwart of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Maryam Shettima popularly known as Maryam Shetty has attended two top global events in New York City, USA.
They are the 69th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69), at the United Nations headquarters and The African Renaissance and Diaspora Network (ARDN), themed “Empowering Women As Global Leaders in the struggle for Climate Change.”
Highlighting the importance of the events, Maryam , in a statement, undescored the importance of fostering dialogue and collaboration among women.
She said it is by so doing that women can aptly drive meaningful change in society.
The good governance advocate pointed out that women are always key to the development of the society and therefore should advance their engagements in all sectors.
