Senator Lalong Leads Plateau National Assembly Members To Condole Family Of Former Comptroller General Of Immigration Paradang

Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District Simon Lalong has led members of the National Assembly from Plateau State on a condolence visit to the family of former Comptroller General of Immigration Nde David Paradang who died recently.
The former Plateau State Governor was accompanied by Hon. John Dafaan, Member Representing QuaanPan/Shendam/Mikang Federal Constituency, Hon. Ishaya Lalu, Member Representing Bokkos/Mangu Federal Constituency and Hon. Bulus Venman, Langtang South/Langtang North Federal Constituency.
They were received by the widow of the deceased Mrs. Ana Paradang.
While consoling with the immediate family, Government and people of Plateau State, the Nigerian Immigration Service, his friends and associates Lalong said the death came as a shock and with a lot of grief.
He recalled the patriotic and meritorious service that Paradang gave to the nation during his years at the Nigerian Immigration Service where he rose to head the agency and gave his best to the fatherland.
Senator Lalong asked the family particularly the wife and children to be consoled by the fact that he was a man of integrity and courage who served others with his gifts, resources and knowledge thereby leaving behind legacies that will continue to be cherished for years to come.
Responding, Mrs Ana Paradang said the family is distraught and sad with the demise of their father, but are comforted because they have left everything in God’s hands.
She appreciated Senator Lalong and the national assembly members for the visit saying the words of comfort shall continue to assuage their pains.
National President of the NIPSS Alumni Association, Ambassador Emmanuel Obi Okafor who also visited the family said the death of their colleague is devastating.
He described him as a man of peace and a patriotic Nigerian who gave his best to the nation.
